Dentist

Dr. Rhonda Stephens is the first Dental Director at Raphael Health Center and plays a key role in the development and growth of our dental services.  She completed her undergraduate education and Dental training at the University of Michigan in 2004.  Dr. Stephens then returned to Indiana and completed her residency program with Wishard and IU Hospitals treating medically compromised, uninsured and under-insured patients.  She has always enjoyed providing oral health care services to those who would otherwise go without.  Prior to joining us in August, 2006, she held a Dental Director position with another Indiana community health center.  She is involved with a number of Dental outreach and mentor-ship programs in the community and is also an adjunct faculty member of the Indiana University School of Dentistry.

Family Practice Physicians

Dr. Louis Winternheimer is the Medical Director of Raphael Health Center.  Dr. Winternheimer is a graduate of the University of Evansville with a B.S. in Biology and obtained his M.D. from the Indiana University School of Medicine.  Prior to joining Raphael Health Center in 1999, he practiced with a Christian community health center in Chicago.  He is a past recipient of the James S. Westra Memorial Fund and MAP International Fellowship which had him travel and work in Kenya, Africa for a period of time.  Dr. Winternheimer enjoys teaching and working with medical students handling their rotations at the Raphael Health Center.  With a special focus in obstetrics, Dr. Winternheimer enjoys seeing patients of all ages.

Dr. Nathan Roth joined the Raphael Health Center in 2007.  Following a family tradition of attending Taylor University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a major in Biology, he then earned his M.D. from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2004.  Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Roth lived in the Dominican Republic for a year and has traveled on medical mission trips to Africa, Central and South America.  He enjoys treating patients of all ages and leads the spiritual care and ROAR [Reach Out and Read] programs at the Raphael Health Center.

Dr. Theodore Park hails from the Washington, D.C. area and completed his studies at Northwestern University, Illinois.  He received a B.A. degree in Psychology and his M.D at the Feinberg School of Medicine.  His residency training was at the Christ Hospital/University of Cincinnati Family Medicine Program.  Prior to join Raphael Health Center in September, 2009, he practiced medicine in New Zealand, Cincinnati and another Indiana health center.

Nurse Practitioner

Jana Treadway joined the Raphael Health Center in August, 2006 after completing her Master's degree at The Ohio State University.  She is nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and enjoys women's health, pediatric care and taking care of patients of all ages.  She graduated from David Lipscomb University with a B.A. in English and then spent seven years as a missionary and educator in Benin and Togo, West Africa.  She has maintained her interest in missions by taking part in additional medical mission trips to Honduras and Haiti.  She is the program director for the Susan G. Komen Foundation grant, providing breast cancer screenings to uninsured and under-insured women.  

Physician Assistant

Erin Ehninger joined the Raphael Health Center in November, 2007.  She completed her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a Physician Assistant major from Butler University and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  She worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician during her undergraduate years and was employed with an Indianapolis health center prior to coming to the Raphael Health Center.  Erin has volunteered with mission work in Alaska, New York and South Africa.  

Jennifer Cyrzan graduated from the University of Wisconsin with B.S. in Medical Microbiology and Immunology and continued her studies at Butler University where she completed her Masters of Physician Assistant studies.  She joined Raphael Health Center in June, 2009 and has traveled to Honduras and Haiti on medical mission trips.
